Thanks for visiting and taking the time to view my work. I am an artist, film editor, and amateur woodworker living and working in Los Angeles.
I’m a first generation American of Indo-Caribbean descent born in Queens, New York. I went to school in South Florida, graduating from the University of Miami in Coral Gables where I received my BA with a dual major in Studio Art and Motion Pictures. After graduating college, I moved back to New York to work briefly in advertising until packing my bags for Los Angeles where I attended the American Film Institute Conservatory, earning my MFA in 2009.
I currently work as an artist and film editor here in Los Angeles. My eclectic background and wide range of experiences has afforded me the opportunity to meet people from all walks of life and experience an amazingly vast array of cultures and ways of thinking, which has informed both my work and who I am as an artist.
Unfortunately, like so many artists, I spent far too much of my life emotionally crippled by self-doubt and it took me many, many years to get to a place where I felt confident enough to share my artwork with others. A few years ago I finally felt ready to start submitting my work to galleries and shows, and I was pleasantly surprised and humbled to see it well received. Since then I have been a part of a number of group exhibitions and had the chance to meet and work with some amazingly talented artists from around the globe. I hope to be able to keep telling my story through my work and continue to share it with others.
